The biggest professional skills competition for students of Latvian vocational education institutions in metalworking and mechanical engineering

The Association of Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking Industries of Latvia (MASOC) in cooperation with the Zemgale Region Human Resource and Competence Development Center (ZRKAC) and Tehnobus Latvia is organizing the professional skills competition for metalworking and mechanical engineering students of Latvian vocational education institutions. Competition will take place on April 27, 2023 from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. in Jelgava, in ZRKAC premises, Svētes Street 33 and K. Barona Street 40

14 teams from main Latvian vocational education institutions in metalworking and mechanical engineering have applied for the competition, and this will be the largest competition of professional skills in metalworking and mechanical engineering in Latvia.

Each team is made from 3 students and a teacher supporting the teams. The competitions will consist of 3 parts: presentation of the team's homework, answers to questions in the professional field and creation of practical work.

2. Vocational education competence centre Riga Technical College - CNC setter
3. Vocational education competence centre Riga Technical College - CNC setter
4. Valmiera technical school - CNC setter
