Orgalim launches iAM Manifesto with 7 concrete policy recommendations
On 4 June, as part of the Orgalim Conference on ‘The Geopolitics of Advanced Manufacturing’, President Javier Ormazabal launched the ‘integrate Advanced Manufacturing’ (iAM) Manifesto drawn up and agreed by the Orgalim Council.
As a powerful underlying ecosystem of different techniques and technologies that can strengthen every industrial sector, Advanced Manufacturing is key to build state-of-the-art, highly automated and digitised industrial production systems that Europe needs to drive up productivity, scale clean technologies, & meet its objectives for sustainable growth.
Advanced Manufacturing should therefore be treated as a strategic priority & firmly integrated into relevant areas of EU industrial policy.
SEVEN Recommendations to strengthen Europe’s leadership in Advanced Manufacturing
1. Create better conditions to scale up investments in Advanced Manufacturing.

4. Recognise the link between Electrification and Advanced Manufacturing.
5. Facilitate industrial AI adoption & support industry-driven data spaces.
